Gudetama Cafe is located in an outer storefront of the mall, with its own entrance. Since the mall doesn't have much going on for it, there is plenty of parking if you want to dine here. The cafe is spacious, cutely decorated as expected, and clean. I saw on Google that it still gets very busy when they open and through lunch time, so we went for dinner. At dinner time there was no wait and plenty of seats - it's definitely a good time to go check it out. We had the Gude Katsu sandwich, Sleepy Sliders and Sparkling Mango drink. The Gude Katsu was very good - the bun, egg, Katsu were all well made. I'd say my son's Sleepy Sliders had patties that were overcooked, but he really liked the fried mozzarella that was in there. The tater tots they came with were nice and crispy. The Sparkling Mango drink was tasty too. It's a simple menu, but the food is well done especially compared to some other themed cafes. It did take them a while to make our food, so I can see how the morning crowd can pile up quite easily.

Cute and tasty Gutdetama themed cafe! There are many photo opportunities here since the entire place is decorated down to the walls, tables, and fun sculptures. To be honest, I didn't really have high expectations for the food because most character cafes focus on the presentation more then the taste. However, I was pleasantly surprised that the food here was pretty good! I tried the Gude Katsu, Egg, and Cheese sandwich while my friend ordered the Whatever Avacado Toast. The sandwich was very buttery and the melty egg and crispy katsu were delicious together. My friend enjoyed the toast and said that it was well seasoned with the strong oregano and herb taste. Both meals also came with a side of basic tater tots. The only downside is that the wait can be pretty long. There is a line to get into the building and then another short line once you get in to order. It took about 30-40 minutes so just be prepared to wait.

Gudetama Cafe has been open for several months, and even after all this time there are lines all day, every day. Regardless, I love cute character themed cafes, so I made it a point to visit this cafe with my wife and a close friend of mine. We came Saturday morning and arrived at 11:30, and there was already a half hour wait. The line went fairly quickly though. Food is ordered at the counter. The decorations are super cute and adorable. My friend got the Egg-Cellent Sausage and Cheese as well as a Sparkling Mango. My wife and I shared sleepy sliders, and we asked to upgrade our tater tots to bacon cheese tots. We also shared an affogato ice cream coffee. The drinks came super fast. The food took about 10 minutes. We also asked for some spicy mayo and spicy ketchup. I couldn't taste any spiciness from the ketchup, but the mayo had just the tiniest kick that I enjoyed. The tater tots went well with the spicy mayo. The wagyu sliders were solid, though nothing out of the ordinary. My wife and I took many pictures of the establishment, as did our friend. It's the type of place I would take friends visiting from out of town. Very cute and fun with solid food.

The theming and decor (tables, walls, windows, statues, doors) is super cute and fun and we loved that even the food names went along with the theme and all the eggs and bread in the sandwiches have have a cute Gudetama face. Wasn't too busy and the employees were nice and polite and the food was prepared relatively quickly. For desert we got this adorable gudetama cream puff (note the adorable face)
